New Friends!

HOST FAMILIES NEEDED:

Would you like to be a part of the Topeka Golden Giants Baseball Family?

We are not just a baseball team, we are a community of families.
The community is what makes the Topeka Golden Giants a family.
Our team exists only through continued support of our community, contributors, advertisers and the efforts of our volunteers.

Do you love Baseball?

Are you interested in having an impact on a young man's life and possibly his professional career?

If so, you may be perfect as a Host Parent and a Host Family. Each year many young men move to our area for the summer to play for the Topeka Golden Giants. From late May through the end of July these young, aspiring ballplayers hone their baseball skills by playing approximately 50 games, compete in a League All-Star game and a post season conference tournament.
Players come from all over the United States to participate in with competitive  teams with team members located across Kansas and Missouri. Historically,  the Topeka Golden Giants  "host family program" has become a vital part of a teams success- both on and off the field. Having our player's become part of a local family helps these young men secure a sense of normalcy in a strange new city and state. Many of the player's become more than a guest, they actually become part of the family.

Here's the Pitch!
  1. You provide a home, some food and a bed for player(s) during the summer season.
  2. Your family receives free admission to home regular season games.
  3. You have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the future of a young man.
  4. You may be getting to know a future Major League Baseball player.
Host a Baseball Player! Experience Memories that last a lifetime!

sendoff for Topeka athletes
at TARC 2014.
TARC participates in the Journey of Hope  (July 2014). JOH holds a very special place in our hearts as they bicycle across the United States to raise money for and awareness about people with disabilities.
TARC plays host to these incredible young men and they will be participating in an event with the support of Diamond Dreams in between games on Sunday July 6th at Lake Shawnee.

ON Friday, July 5th, 2013

we honored and saluted the

U.S. Military All Star team by hosting a game

at Lake Shawnee as part of the 2013 patriotic

"red, white & blue tour".

 Diamond Dreams "DOUBLE PLAY"

The Topeka Golden Giants student-athletes, as part of their team participation, become involved in Philanthropic events that benefit the Greater Topeka community. We have developed bonds with Ronald McDonald House, Midland Hospice Care,
The YMCA, Boys and Girls Clubs, Cappers Easter Seals Foundation, to name just a few.
We help support these public awareness events: Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer Program, Habitat for Humanity and this season we honor a philosophy of "Hustle, Think, Win!" with our participation and "Rising Stars" grand event .
Our players win - both "on and off" the field - building their baseball and life skills.
